Description

Broad, round and rich, this wine holds its freshness close to its core. The vines are between 40 to 60 years old and find firm footing in mica schist soils that give rise to fruit that is focused, persistent and clean. A bit of bottle age brings amplified expression and targeted concentration.

Serving recommendation

Serve at 10-12 °C with seafood, scallops, lobster, grilled fish, Asian food and goat cheeses.

About producer

Part of the castle moat, retained from the Middle Ages, along with antique gates and the ancient chapel have been restored and the chapel now serves as an intimate tasting room. A variety of vines were planted on the estate and today the hillside vineyards produce many age worthy wines.
