The vines are on average 50 years old. The 6 hectares vines grow in deep, dry pink granite hill, manganese and iron oxyd-rich soils and well-drained sandy soils. Maceration for about 20 days. Aged on fines lees, partly in casks and barrels (1 to 3 wines). A very delicate nose with aromas of cherry, strawberry and blackberry. Full-bodied in the mouth with silky tannins.
Serve at 16-18 °C with grilled red meat, duck and terrines, green beans and broccoli.
