One of the very first Rhône style blends in South Africa. This elegant Rhône blend displays Old World Style with New World fruit. Vines grow in sandy and loamy soils. The wine was fermented in open tanks with gentle extraction by pumping over and then pressed and racked into second and third fill French oak barrels for 18 months to add more structure and complexity. Fruity, velvety tannins, aromas of wild red berries, spices, salty olives.
Serve at 16-18 °C with a lamb steak or a chicken steak with homemade barbecue sauce.
