This monopoly vineyard has belonged to the Gross family since 1860. The wine from this vineyard aged for 18 months in 50-70% new oak barrels, have extremely mild tannins and a complex and well-balanced aroma and taste. This gives the impression of lightness, which can be confusing - although the wine is pleasantly drunk young, it easily retains its freshness and fertility for 15 years.
Serve at 14-16 °C with roasted duck breast, partridge or pheasant.
