The wine, aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, has a rather intense black cherry color. A refreshing and mineral aroma is a sign of high quality harvest. The aroma is dominated by dark forest berries, a little licorice, Earl Gray tea, leather and vanilla. In the mouth, the wine is dry, with juicy acid, medium polished tannins, a bright fruity taste and a long aftertaste of sweet spices. Excellent balance and strong enough structure - good maturity potential.
Serve at 14-16 °C with lamb steak, duck breast or venison with cranberry sauce.
Sarah Marsh MW Violet on the nose. He is elegant. He is quite racy. It is "colder", not as ripe and sweet as the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Burgundy, but with more interesting floral aromas on the nose and in the mouth and a longer finish. Įvertinimas:
Michel Gros estate located in Vosne-Romanée, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, finds its origins in 1830 when the first member of the Gros family settled there and founded his estate. The following generations have continued to develop the estate’s plot, which currently covers an area of 23 hectares. The flagship of the estate is Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru ‘Clos des Réas’, which has been operated as a monopoly by the Gros family since its acquisition in 1860. Today, Pierre Gros (Domaine Michel Gros), 7th generation of this dynasty of winegrowers, continues and develops with the support of his father, Michel, the work undertaken by their ancestors. Passionate but also very rigorous, Pierre takes constant care in the development of his wines, mastering all stages of production, from the vines to bottling. A world of work, high standards, sharing and passion to discover. All products by this producer
