This is an icon of Sicilian wine. Since 1985 this wine surprises and conquers the hearts of more and more wine lovers every year. This wine is made from Chardonnay grapes grown in two vineyards in the municipality of Menfi. The soil of the Ulm vineyard is dominated by limestone and black soil with fine gravel. Meanwhile, Maroccoli - vines grow in calcareous soils rich in large boulders. After careful selection of Chardonnay grapes, the berry juice is fermented in small oak barrels at a temperature of 17-19 ⁰C. At the end of the fermentation, the wine is matured for 11 months in 40% new, 30% second usege, 30% third usage French oak barrels.
Serve at 12-14 °C with grilled drops, paste, richer cheese pizzas, white forest mushrooms fried in butter.
