Description
Wine Planeta Didacus created from the first vines planted in 1985 on the shores of Lake Ulmo. Didakus is the children's nickname of Diego, the wise head of one of the most important families involved in winemaking. The grapes for making wine were sorted and pressed by hand. Then it was aged in 80% new oak barrels. In the soft, creamy taste of the wine trapped notes of candied fruit and orange peel, which are complemented by nuances of almond, lime and anise. Special charm to taste is added by salty and mineral shades.Serving recommendation

Cousin Alessio with cousins Francesca and Santi made their name Planeta a world-famous brand. The renaissance of all Sicilian winemaking is linked to the Planeta winery, which continues to this day. Local and international grape varieties are grown in different parts of the island under the most favorable conditions for grapes. Planeta has its own wineries in six Sicilian provinces, with a total of 390 hectares of vineyards and 93 hectares of olive groves. Planeta produces 21 wines and 3 premium olive oils. The wine produced in the five wineries reflects the ancient spirit of the island of Sicily and the possibilities of modern winemaking.
